In an extraordinary policy change, the Census Bureau recently announced that when gay and lesbian couples indicate they are married on the 2010 form, the Census will count them as married. The Census is the first Federal agency to recognize marriage of gay and lesbian couples, even though it does not ask anyone about their sexual orientation.
There are many reasons why participating in this Census is important to the LGBT community, but the more obvious reason is that it affects how more than $400 billion of federal funding is spent each year on everything from hospitals to schools and job training. The Census also provides visibility to LGBT households by assuring they are counted, and this visibility opens the opportunity for contact with groups that can become allies.
The form is short, it’s simply and it’s important. Fill It Out. Mail It Back!

Hey, I've got a crazy idea! Instead of welcoming us, the loyal Blackberry users, to kick the tires around the new blog, why not put the elves to work on adding a new little link to the homepage that takes MB3-210 us directly to some sort of "Network Status" page? Maybe that way we could come here first to see when our devices are in paperweight mode instead of calling all our respective MB3-214 service providers to get the response of "RIM is having nationwide problems again, so it's not a (insert carrier name here) network problem, it's specifically a Blackberry problem."MB3-215 And in light of these situations, especially considering that this is the second nationwide outage in about a week, MB3-216 what about allowing us to use a POP e-mail solution on our Blackberry devices when the network does suffer a nationwide failure?
