Phyllis Randolph Frye addresses a conference of non-LGBT professionals about transgender kids coming out

In a conference sponsored by the School Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, and hosted by the University of Texas Law School's Continuing Legal Education program, Frye delivered a message that she hopes "will positively influence the respectful treatment by schools of both transgender kids and teachers during the next decade." 

Frye says that "never before have I been privileged to address a large, general conference of non-LGBT professionals who invited me and who wanted input on the emerging fact that, even in Texas, transgender kids in kindergarten through 12th grade are coming OUT!"
