We're proud to be part of an event coming up in a little over two weeks put on by our friends at Equality Texas.
Equality Project Training, taking place on Jan. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is designed for Texans who support LBGT rights, and who want to let their Texas State Representatives and Senators know about their support. The session educates participants on policies and legislation that would eliminate discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity/expression, and then it demystifies the process of talking to legislators.
Those who participated in Lobby Day last year at the Texas State Capitol know how valuable it is to be part of the dialogue for LGBT rights -- our participants spoke for literally millions of people in Texas who support LGBT equality.
If you're interested in participating, the link above takes you to the registration page.
